Green Castle Ashore near Rackwick

This photo was taken by Barry Jones and shows the Stromness and Longhope Lifeboats trying to pull the Green Castle off the shore near Rackwick.
She was hauled clear next day by one of the harbour tugs.

Comments:
This was my first "shout". We were heading up to Stromness to rendezvous with the Stromness boat for and exercise when we received the order to head for Rora Head as the Green Castle was aground.
