Thanks for your thanks Isobel. The 'magic' was made possible by the use of Paint Shop Pro's cloning tool and a few other little tweaks here and there. For Spoot's info PSP is a much cheaper version of Photoshop and as you can see, just as effective.

Photofiltre is also effective and is readily downloadable FREE of charge.

There is also GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) which is completely free and has loads of features.
