Hatston hut living room

We were there from Jan 1977 to November 1977. It was closing down around that time, we were moved to Warrenfield Crescent. In January we huddled around the Calor Superser heater. The young lady's name escapes me for the moment.

Comments:
so pleased to see all the photos of the Hatson houses, both inside and outside, we lived at no 5 for 2 years before moving to Quoybanks Cres .I specially rember having to walk in the Ayre Road with the sea coming over the dyke. we never wanted to have to go round the Peedie sea road.

Yes Sandy, I found that radio on a rubbish dump in Bristol around 1973 took it home and it worked, brought it up to Orkney, I think we were still using it 1978/79 when I upgraded to a 'stereo' It was a Marconiphone valve set, Jeck Miller was using exactly the same set at the Kiln corner petrol station . I had of course painted mine in the fashionable post office red colour. How times change Bossack is full to the brim of unwanted 'stereos'
