This picture was taken from the FV Silver Lining on Thursday 26 July 2007 at about 3.15 pm. It was taken off Rerwick Head in Tankerness.

Think it's what is called a 'cold air funnel cloud' Robert, if it touches the ground it's a tornado and if it is low enough to draw up water it's a waterspout.
