Me and my granny, Meta Towers taken at Norland, Stromness. Meta was going to work to clean at the Royal Bank of Scotland one day and met these two foreign lads who had missed the boat and had nowhere to stay. She invited them back to stay with us! They stayed for a few days and took me away with them when they went walking! They came from Switzerland, and took this photo of us. On returning to Switzerland they sent us back a parcel of 'goodies', chocolate, liquours etc. Can you imagine that happening nowadays!!!???
