Stanley loved music and was an accomplished fiddler in his day, although I don't recall him being a member of any of the local dance bands. I'm sure he would have been a valuable asset to any Scottish Dance Band with his great timing, rhythm and ability. His party trick was to place it behind his head and extract a tune from it.

I think this would have been taken several years earlier than 1937. Frankie is now 90 and although he lives in Alness, still makes several trips back "home" every year.
