I can't name anyone in this except the teacher, George Reid. One of the boys in the back row sports a watch chain. This photo and the previous one both taken by (Miss) Sinclair, Kirkwall. Date estimated.

Today you'd never get a class with 40 odd kids in it! No school uniforms in those days. I wonder when the uniforms in schools became tradition!! Long hair for girls and short hair for boys. Changed days eh!

I think the girl kneeling 4th from the left in the front is Ada Spence see pic no 19354 for another photo of her. She was born in 1894. The boy 4th from the right in the back row could be Ada's brother John George who is also in pic no 19353 of the Kirkwall City Football Team. He was born in 1891.
