I can help!! My Dad (Dave Partner) says it was 1967, the year Brian Findlay's son was born. It was the Christmas night parade. And he says it's John Learmonth (2nd from right, front row) not D Learmonth!

Give your Dad my regards. I probably haven't seen him since playing in this band - frightening to think that's forty years ago. This is the only picture of the band from that era that I have with me in it.

many is the days evenings i used to hear a calder practicing the pipes outside his home on the holm road- makes me quite nostalgic-any pictures of that? george higgins
