Peace Celebration Picnic, Deerness, 1919

The Deerness community gathered at Newark to celebrate the end of the Great War with a picnic. Everyone wearing their Sunday best and the children have flags to wave.

I can spot Great-Great Granny Ritch of Kitchen of Brecks(born Elizabeth Wotherspoon Pringle in 1874) at centre right wearing a black hat and black fur? around her neck. Possibly 2 of her daughters to her left.
