Orkney Girls in the 1920's

A studio portrait of Orkney girls taken in the 1920's. The girls are from left to right: Cissie Foubister, Sally Cormack,Maggie Stove,Mimie Stove,Ellen Ritch(known as Nina) and Aggie Aitken.

Nina was from Kitchen of Brecks in Deerness and worked as a secretary for Lows in Kirkwall for many years. She was my husband's Grandmother. Does anyone know anything about the other girls?

Comments:
Yes, I can tell you quite a lot about them. Cissie Foubister from the Park, Deerness, lived all her life in Deerness ending up at Drumrossie. Sally Cormack married a Scott and went to live in Aberdeenshire and raised a family of boys at Cairnbanno Farm. Maggie Stove married a Ritch and lived her life at Southernwood, Deerness, don't think she had any family. Mimie Stove Married Willick Scott at Pickletillum Deerness and had a son. Aggie Aitken came from Westersands and also married but unsure of where she settled.
