James Robertson of Hunclett in Rousay

James Robertson of Hunclett in Rousay. 1870
He was the grandfather of LAM Robertson who had the shops in Kirkwall and are shown in picture #1302 and picture #1376.
I can remember going to visit Lydia and her sister Maggie in their flat above the shop in Victoria Street when I was small. She was related to my grandmother and we always had to visit when we were in Kirkwall.

Comments:
This would be the same gentleman who appears in Rousay Roots. His two daughters, Maggie and Lydia ran a shop in Victoria Street, Kirkwall.
