Elwick Bay discharging Coal in Stromness

Circa 1970, John Hourie of Bremner & Co was the agent
I was a crew member as was Frank Johnson from Harray.
Bill Dennison was the skipper and his wife Sylvia the cook.
Samantha the long haired German Shepherd was also crew.
There was a BBC film made for the serious 'Look Stranger' at this time entitled 'A Wife on the Ocean Wave'. I have been unable to source a copy if anyone has one?

Peter - I have that Look Stranger programme here. It would probably be of interest to a few folk so I'll see about putting it on line. More background info would be handy if you had a minute for a yarn.

Hi Peter, I was with you on that video as a very young student.
It’s available on iPlayer now, I’m retired now, what’s happened
In your life? Are either Bill or Sylvia still alive? Regards, Alan Morrison
