We have just moved into a new house in Clyro near Hay on Wye. In the loft we found certificates relating to Gerard Francis Turnbull including this one presented by the queen when he was awarded Decoration of Air Force Cross in 1954. Hi, I posted here a couple of years ago. You might have found the owner of the docs by now. If not I think the Gerard Francis Turnbull you are looking for came from Cork in Ireland. He won the MBE. I recently found an article from the Belfast Newsletter dated Friday 1st January 1954. This will be who you are looking for
