This is a 1950 photo sent to Australia many years ago of Lynn Cottage by the then occupants (and very distant relations) Jeannie and Scottie Watson.
I don't know if it is still standing but would be interested to find out as we are planning to visit Kirkwall later this year.

Hi Tom, yes the house is still standing and thank you for a amazing photo I have been trying to find photos of LYNN since we moved in a few years ago. You will be more than welcome to come up to the house when you visit Orkney.

The photo is of my former home and back in the 50s we had two visits from Australian girls ( from Bendigo or Mildura ); they wanted to see snow in Orkney.
Would be delighted to meet up with you once you arrive.
