Comments:
The Solant Lifeboat had narrow decks "Hootnah" the mechinic on the Thurso Lifeboat on seeing the Solant for the first time said "A cheel wae beeg feet will need tae walk richt aroond her fur he will never git turned"!!. What a man was "Hootnaa" surly as fine a mechanic as ever served on a Lifeboat.
