I couldn't resist taking your picture and doing this: http://www.orkneycommunities.co.uk/PLUS2/documents/pictures/Animation1.gif

Steven, you may take my pictures and do (almost) anything you like with them.

Clever, Steven. My brain tells me it is rotating but after 7 rotations it interprets it as an expanding and contracting bar

Re the updated photograph. You have got the Radar turning the wrong way. It is obvious after staring at it for at least 5 minutes!

[Well done for being the first to spot that Jim! - Steven]

It's actually an optical illusion, if you stare at it you can see it turn in either direction.

Price, I realised that - I was trying to be funny & Steven played along.
I believe that you are just down the road from me - I am in BH18

Back in June 1993 I was temporary on the Fingal as 3rd Engineer and at this quay 10th June. As far as I know it was sold in 2000 to Tamahine, Hong Kong and renamed the Windsor Castle. It was an interesting couple of weeks I had aboard, for sure!
