The Robertson's old yole

The Robertson's old yole, I dont know if there was any connection but Walter always spoke of this yole wae great affection. I think she may have been called the BLENHEIM.

If it was the Blenheim, that was my fathers yole at wan time .. when the Charles D McIver was beached off East Moaness for repairs, they borrowed the yole as a jolly boat , and the day they were finished wi her, they lifted her aboard and painted her, then handed her back tae my father they also filled her wi' things we couldna get during the war, as a thank you..Strange thing I can mind all that, but never knew who she was sold to, she wasnt very big as yoles go.. maybe about 13 ft.
