Barth Head seals

In connection with my comment on picture #26024, here are some Grey Seal pics from slides shot, over the years, at one or two of the Barth Head pupping beaches. The centre-right one is a little unusual in showing dad as well as mum and baby. This bull is probably new to fatherhood; older males have to ride shotgun on a harem, which doesn't leave much time to spend with one particular female and babe. (It's odd that bulls and cows can have pups. To confuse things further, large groups of seals at pupping beaches are often called rookeries.)
