On the beach at Scapa, 1910ish

A picture by T. M. Macgregor, photographer, Castle Street, Kirkwall, presumably for general sale (unless some of these petticoats contain my relations). On the back someone who couldn't spell has written "Interestering discovery". Date estimated - 1910.

I believe the photo by T MacGregor was of his daughters taken at Scapa. One of his daughters was Rhena MacGregor who was my grandmother. She married James Smith. Rhena was born in 1901 so the date would be accurate. There is a similar photo on sale on e-bay named 'departing day' taken, I think on the same day, and shows only Rhena - it had been made into a postcard. I have the original photo in my house (and many more!)
