What is this device, and where is it going?

I like the idea of this device, the simplicity is what appeals to me. I have watched several of the wave devices here at Lyness, and while I would wish them well some are to dependent on fair weather and that is something wae are somewhat short o here in Orkney.
Good luck tae this ane I will watch its progress with great interest.
There are enough tide ways around Orkney I hope they site this one in a sheltered area and give it a good chance. Why don't these developers ask the people who have earned their living in our hostile waters, are they not the the ones who might know a bit aboot hid!!.
A fisherman who has a lifetime of working in places like Hoy Sound or the Pentland Firth must have experience not avalable on a computer graphic these engineers seem to like fiddling aboot wae!!.
