Did Mary Borwick emigrate, Neil?

The reason I ask is my mother was very friendly with a Mary Borwick who stayed in New Scapa Road and who emigrated to Australia in the late fifties. I can barely remember her as I was a bairn at that time.

No Fred, she lived in Victoria St. then, I think Whitechapel.I attended her funeral when she died in 1994.She was my second cousin.

Fred, I know who you mean. Mary Borwick was a cousin of my father and was a Yorston from Rousay. I don't know anything about her since she went to Australia but you will find her in www.rousayroots.co.uk
