Mystery object or feature

A mystery object or feature. This is the flat summit of Mid Hill, on the border of Orphir and Stenness, the highest point on the Orkney mainland. The summit is marked by the stones in the foreground and just behind it is a perfectly circular peat bank about a metre deep. Or is it a wartime 'dugout'?

Comments:
Its a trap to catch Stenness folk before they venture into Orphir and try to pinch the Orphir/Stenness Ba they lost which hangs proudly in the Orphir Hall.
