North Walls and Brims folk

North Walls and Brims folk - about 1935

Left to right: Walterina Ross (Wellbraes, Crockness), Bella Nicholson (she was probably Mrs Mowat by the time of the photo), unknown, possibly Jimmy Mowat, Bella's husband?, John Ross (Wellbraes, Crockness). Date is a guess, nearer 1940 may be more accurate - my granny Walterina would have been mid/late forties by then. I wonder if the photo might have been taken at Burnmouth in Rackwick where Bella and Jimmy lived (don't know when they moved there)

Comments:
Jane I dont think Jimmy and Bella lived at Burnmouth as that would have been Bella's parents home. Did not Jimmy and Bella build the "Peedie Moss" when they married? But I agree it looks like the photo is taken at Burnmouth in fact I wid say the same window is still in there today!!.

Great photos Jane keep them coming.
