I would be a fibber if I said I was not proud of this Parish Cup medal. When I got married in 1959 I played for St.Ola and was injured playing against Stenness that year. I got a call in 1965 asking if I would play for St.Ola for the last few games as there were one or two injuries. I had no hesitation in saying yes. Although there is no mention of me playing, I played in the two Finals in 1965 against Harray. The first game was a draw and the week after we beat them 2-1 in the Bignold Park. Oh what a celebration we had that night! The ultimate Prize in Football. Happy Days. Added Phil Brough.
