North Isles Trip day. No date with the picture but I wuld guess late 60's.
Dockers from OISC - Orkney Islands Shipping Company standing centre left at the store door, Jackie Kelday (centre with jacket buttoned), on his left is Tommy Johnston, Geordie Skea and Cyril Stewart.

A small point: The men who worked in OISC shed at that time were classed as storemen, not dockers. Alan Bullen (manager) and Jackie Kelday (stevedore) brought containerisation to the North Isles.

Thanks Alistair - good shot of my in-laws and wife (to be). Given my wife's appearance I would suggest date more likely very early 70s
