This ruin is Scorriedale. My Great Great Granfather John Groundwater was born there and lived with his wife Williamina Moncrieff. Their son, James Farquhar Groundwater, founded the baker and grocer in Kirkwall. The house was habitable until the early fifties.

I remember visiting and old lady who lived there.
