Evelyn went to the Brims school with me, although she was a bit younger. The family went to Canada at the end of the war and I dont know if any of them came back to Orkney for a visit.

This photograph looks to have been taken above the house now called "Oljarn" I believe that Danny lived there before going to Canada,the hill behind the brothers looks like the fields of Manclett Farm.

Danny & Dora's house was then known as East Hurliness, it was changed to Oljaren by Jimmy & Jean Swanson when they owned it.
