The year must be wrong because Moyra Cormack (now Tinch) (my granma) wasnt ten when she was in 1A, it must be at least 1 year later.

You are probably right. I am happy to go along with 1947.It was a long time ago.I would have been age 11 then and just moved up to the Higher grade from the qualifying class8.Give my regards to your granny & Grandpa.
