Peter writes:
'[This picture] shows well known longline fishermen of their day- L to R: Alex.(Sandy) Walls , his brother John , and Sandy's brother in law Bertie Linklater.
The brothers were known locally at the time as the Walls "Boys"....word soon got around when they had been at sea ,and fresh fish was to be had at the Corn Slip. Bertie was one of the helpers who kept them supplied with fresh bait.'
