Spirit Dancer at Scapa

The Spirit Dancer, on arrival at Scapa Saturday 4th July 2009. The Spirit Dancer is a 42 foot Canadian canoe currently in Orkney as part of a British Isles journey. More information available on www.spiritdancercanoejourneys.ca

She was paddled from Stromness to Scapa on Saturday 4th July by a mixed crew of Canadians and local paddlers.

If anyone fanices a trip in the Spirit Dancer she's here until the end of July - there's been trips from Kirkwall Pier or Marina at 7pm all this week.

Comments:
To update the above info - it's from last week! [OK, OK- Steven] The Spirit Dancer has finished a week and a half of nightly trips from Kkirkwall. There will still be opportunities for members of the public to get out in her (everyone who's been out so far has had a great time) - listen to Radio Orkney for updates. I think she'll be in Stromness on Saturday 18th from 2pm.
