No, it is a quarry but wrong location.

It is the quarry in the hill up the Bigswell road. The trees were planted by the late Edwin Harrold. He apparently planted them in the snow, some are quite high up the side of the quarry. When I was a bairn you could walk in through one road of the quarry and out through the other but you can't do that any more as the water doesn't dry up enough to walk past it. There used to be tadpoles in the water too but they have also gone.
