James Shearer (Doodles) Crisp with his mother, Davina Shearer, grandmother and greatgrandmother (1911). I'm not sure about the senior ladies' names.

The lady at the back is Davina Crisp {nee Shearer, my Grandmother}, seated right is Lily Shearer, Davina's sister- she married Hugh Marwick. The lady holding Doodle is my Great Grandmother Mary Ann Shearer {Nee Hourston}

If my dates are right, Mary Ann was only 56 and Lily 30, at the time of that photo, but they look a lot older, probably because of the Victorian rig outs.

Davina Crisp is my husband's Great Grandmother - this photo is a wonderful find. We are tracing the family tree so if Lewis Munro, Marlene Mainland or any one else who has information on the family could contact me, that would be so great!! We can then forward any photos we find on to you too.
