The school surely closed soon after that, as some of these children were pupils at Kirkwall Primary School by 1969, where Mrs Hall was also a colleague.

I went into Papdale Primary 6 1968-9
Mrs Hall came into Papdale at the same time until her retirement

my brother and i are in this photo , alison and tony morrison. i absolutly loved my school days here and mrs hall was a lovely person. it was a terrible culture shock when we left orkney shortly after this and moved outside edinburgh.
