Photo taken from Cuesbay,Eday(Cusvie on some older maps),looking out over Pharay Sound(Faray on some older maps), with the high ground of Rousay in the background.
On the left horizon is mainland Orkney,with Wideford Hill prominent.
Again on the left,(but nearer) is Fersness Point on the west side of Eday,reaching out towards the southern tip of Pharay.
