Comments:
The Gentleman standing in the middle looks like Charlie Rioch. He was councillor for Hoy, Walls and Flotta in the 80's.
Added by Lee Thomson on 24 January 2009
Front row from left: Ron Gilbert (OIC Chief Executive), Edwin Eunson (OIC Convenor), Colonel Sir RAAS Macrae (Lord Lieutenant), Brigadier Sidney Robertson (Vice Lord Lieutenant).
Added by B.Moar on 30 January 2009
Charlie Rioch was also Headmaster of North Walls JS School and a holder of the Burma Star. When he came home after his heart attack, the mustard coloured stain round his beard & moustache had gone back to pure white: the hospital staff warned him they'd soon know if he'd started smoking again!
