My father always called it 'the peedie kirk'. His father did the joinery work on the porch along with Jame Groundwater, Sam Dickson and John Mowat were the masons I think.

Must be the most attractive small kirk in Orkney, why it was decided tae close it down when it was central tae the Island was a big mistake in my view. There I have said it!!.
