Aye Willie is right, Broughton it is taken from the track that leads up to Brough. Not sure of the date but the end hoose white cable end is now a B&B.

The lady is Peggy Leslie and her niece Lena Kirkness. The year is c1955.

I think it is much earlier than 1955. The end of the house on bottom right could be the Bews family home. My mother was born in a house in The Walk. Door has now been built up as two houses have been made in to one
