Comments:
The missing name after Mary Clyne is Venus Clyne who used to holiday/ stay at Comely Bank. I well remember this picture being taken. The little bear on my jumper was given to me by a tinker woman who stayed in a tent at the "Blitchen" where I had to deliver telegrams to her!!

Barbara Fotheringhame is my mum. I can remember her showing me this photo. Do you have any of my dad Allie Norquoy? I would love to see him in his youth- I have heard lots o stories about him

Yes Linda, I have a couple of school photos with Allie in them, one from the North School and one from the Central School. they are on their way but it takes me a while only using one finger

Hello Jim, Do you have any photographs of Stronsay schools 1942 to 1946 ? My sister and brother Annie and Jim Main who stayed in the Police station would have attended school in Stronsay during those years. I was too young to go to school.
Added by Angus Main on 26 December 2008
Hello Angus, sorry, I do not have any school photographs from 1942 to 1946. I have been asking around but nobody very sure if there were school photos during the war years. The Main bairns I have been told went to the North School. Maybe somebody will have a picture. I will keep asking.
