Well the teacher is my mother, Tess Ross (née Slater) - married in 1952 so not sure what name she went under at the time this photo was taken. I'm pretty certain she has all the names as she and Rosemary Moar went over them all fairly recently.

I think the Alex Stephen in this photo must be my Uncle, Rita Stephen's (who is my mother) brother. Can't say I recognise him in the photo but the timings are right. Also Noreen Sutherland is I think my Mums cousin (so my 1st cousin once removed).

My Granny was the Mrs Chalmers. Cockiness road, don't know Alec Laird?
